Welcome to the Phillip Island and Bass Coast region, famous for its Penguin Parade and the Australian Motorcyle Grand Prix.  Although recognised around the world for these attractions, we invite you to visit and experience for yourself the many other activities, natural attractions and events that are available for you to enjoy.

Bass Coast is surprisingly accessible. Just 90 picturesque minutes along the Monash Freeway and South Gippsland Highway and you’re here. Bass Coast is still refreshingly untouched with a coastline that alternates between photogenic escarpments and endless beaches, many with hardly a footprint. Along the seafront are quaint fishing villages and holiday hamlets which bustle during warmer months and exude an away-from-it-all ambience at other times.  Our accredited Visitor Information Centres provide personal, friendly service, local knowledge and accurate, comprehensive information to help you before and during your visit. Working in partnership with the Tourism and Business Associations we are uniquely placed in the local community to help you enjoy all that Bass Coast has to offer.
