Quiet beach side location, ideal family holiday house with 4 good size bedrooms including two kitchens, perfect for two families. The house itself has floorboards throughout so any sand that you bring back from the beach can easily be taken care of. Upstairs we have a spacious kitchen with brand new fridge, convection microwave, stove, oven and dishwasher. There is also a dining area and lounge with three cosy couches for snuggling around the Coonara heater should you come in winter. Actually, you'll probably rarely use the dining area inside as you'll spend all your time at the outside dining setting, cooking on the BBQ and admiring the view. It's nice and sheltered unlike many places on the Island, just beautiful and peaceful in any season.
Downstairs we have four big bedrooms. There is a large Queen Size bedroom with ensuite which has ample room for the spare single mattress underneath should it be needed. The second bedroom is ingeniously divided with a bank of cupboards - one side has a double bed, and the other a set of bunks. Perfect for Mum and Dad to have some privacy yet still have the children near by. The third bedroom is a child's paradise with two sets of bunks so you can throw all the kids in together, shut the door and head for the balcony! Then you go through the connecting door to another great space - a self contained unit complete with another kitchen, living, lounge, QS bedroom and ensuite. The lounge is also a fold down double bed if you need it. This is the perfect space for another family, or for young children who get up earlier than everyone else, or when you just need a bit more privacy. A self contained area with a split system heater and airconditioner and a lovely view of the back yard. All of downstairs is serviced by three bathrooms (one in the unit, one ensuite and a further central toilet and bathroom). A spacious laundry complete with washing machine and dryer ia also on the ground floor. There is a garage and carport, and huge back yard with heaps of room to kick the footy under the shade of the trees should you tire of the beach. And speaking of the beach - well, that's really why we bought this property. The beach is literally at the end of the back yard. Just a short walk down a private track , over the sand dune and you're there! The start of the track is like an enchanted forest, with hanging vines for maximum privacy - not to mention beauty! So less than two minutes and you're on the beach. Kids had enough? Head back home and come back later. Decide you want to fish once you get there? An easy walk back to grab the rod. Forgot the wine to complement a magnificent sunset? Zip home and grab a chilled bottle out of the fridge. And thank goodness, Ventnor Beach remains a well kept secret so we have rarely seen more than a hundred people on this kilometre long beach. It is that close, and that fantastic
