Owners, Madeleine and Ian Baker created Glen Isla House as a small elegant hotel-style retreat in the European style to offer accommodations quite unique on Phillip Island. Internationally well travelled hosts offer local advice and warm hospitality.
Accommodations include a separate four-poster romantic heritage suite-cottage (fully restored heritage accommodations), elegant purpose-architected en-suited guest rooms classically furnished with garden vistas, and a stylish self-cater cottage with fully equipped kitchen set under 100 year-old oak trees.
Glen Isla is close driving distance from the Phillip Island Nature Park (little penguins and koalas) - 10 mins drive.. Nearby also to wineries, pristine surf and swimming beaches and the Grand Prix Circuit.
Breakfast
Chef-inspired special cooked breakfast served at individual tables in the restaurant-style dining room for B&B guests. We have a resident professional chef.
The Gate Cottage is offered on a self-cater cottage/room only tariff basis for guests to provision and prepare their own meals in the fully equipped kitchen of the Gate Cottage should they wish to do so, or to utilise the many cafes and restaurants in nearby Cowes.
