Cancellation Policy

Special Events Booking Conditions and Cancellation Policy
 
  • All reservations made for stays over Special Event Periods will be subject to the Special Events Cancellation Policy.
  • Special Event Periods include, but are not limited to Christmas, New Year, Phillip Island Moto GP, V8 Supercars and World Superbikes events.
  • Guests will be informed that the period they have requested is a Special Event Period and that the Special Events Cancellation Policy applies at the time of reservation.
  • All reservations require a minimum 50% deposit at the time of booking, some properties require full payment at the time of booking.
  • The full balance of the reservation is required not less than 14 days before the commencement of the booking or the booking will be automatically cancelled.
  • If a reservation is cancelled, automatically or by the guest, the deposit will be refunded if the property is rebooked for the same dates at the same or greater tariff or at the discretion of the operator.
  • A $50 administration fee will be retained by the Phillip Island Information Centre out of all refunds issued.
Standard Booking Conditions and Cancellation Policy
 
  • This policy applies to all reservations not subject to the Special Events Cancellation Policy.
  • Guests will be informed that the Standard Cancellation Policy applies at the time of reservation.
  • A booking deposit of 50% of the total booking or the first nights fees, whichever is greater, is required to confirm reservations made more than 14 days before the date of arrival.
  • Reservations made within 14 days of arrival require full payment at the time of booking.
  • Cheques and money orders will only be accepted if there is sufficient time for postage and clearing.
  • If the booking is cancelled more than 21 days prior to the commencement of the booking monies received will be refunded less $10 administration fee.
  • If the booking is cancelled 21 days or less prior to the commencement of the booking the cancellation fee is 50% of the total booking or the first nights fees, whichever is greater.
  • If guests fail to take up accommodation by the agreed time, without prior arrangement with the accommodation property, the booking will be automatically cancelled and a fee of 50% of the total booking or the first nights fees, whichever is greater will apply.

Attraction Tickets

  • Tickets are not transferable without written authority. Unless specified, tickets are valid for the booking date only.
  • Tickets can not be exchanged or returned after purchase, unless authorised by the operator of the attraction. No refunds due to advised weather conditions, unless authorised by the operator of the attraction.
  • The management of the attraction reserves the right to a) Refuse admission to the attraction and b) Request any ticket holder to leave the attraction and/or take appropriate action to enforce the attractions regulations.
  • The Bass Coast Visitor Information Centres make no guarentees or representations of any attraction it sells tickets for.
  • Conditions of entry displayed at each attraction fors part of the conditions of sale of tickets from the Bass Coast Visitor Information Centres.
  • The owners, operators and managers of the attractions, premises and the Bass Coast Visitor Information Centres shall not be liable for any injusry or damage to any property from any cause whatsoever (including the negligence of staff).
  • It is a condition of entry that all children under 15 years shall be accompanied by an adult who shall be solely responsible for their conduct and safety while on the attraction premises.

Additional clauses for the Penguin Parade

  • No still or video photography, or alcohol is allowed outside the Penguin Parade Visitor Centre.
  • Photographs, movies or videos taken other than at the Penguin Parade (where photography of any kind is prohibited) by visitors are for personal use and enjoyment. Any re-use or reproduction for commercial purposes without the express written consent of the attractions management is strictly prohibited and contravenes copyright laws.
  • Ticket holders for the Penguin Parade will be admitted until 45 minutes after the commencement of the penguin parade after which admission may be refused without a refund.
