Visitor Information Centre Accreditation

Accredited Information Centre

Tourism Alliance Victoria manages the Accreditation program for Visitor Information Centres (VICs) in Victoria, Australia. The program allows VICs to carry the nationally recognised trademark (shown left) by adhering to risk, quality control and customer service principles. Accreditation and the Visitor Information Centre brand provide visitors with confidence that they will receive a high level of service and professionalism that is consistent across Victoria.

Accreditation ensures that visitors are provided with accuracy in advice and information, personally delivered service and comprehensive, timely information.  In essence it provides the consumer with assurance of reliability, consistency, certainty and confidence.

Visitor Information Centre accreditation is delivered by the Australian Tourism Accreditation Program. In Victoria this is overseen by the Tourism Accreditation Board of Victoria.
